Saraya emerged victorious on AEW Dynamite, and Ruby Soho has made her intentions clear.
Near the top of the second hour, Saraya went one-on-one with Skye Blue for the first time ever. Toni Storm was, of course, at ringside and did her best to interfere when possible. At one point, Blue locked Saraya in AJ Lee‘s Black Widow, but Saraya relied on her own experience to reverse out of it.
As the crowd chanted for Blue, Storm got on the apron to distract from a pin attempt. Saraya capitalized by locking Blue in her signature submission to end the bout after only a few minutes.
Afterward, Saraya and Storm went to spray paint Blue, but Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker ran down to make the save. The heels run up the ramp but ran into Ruby Soho, who signaled to Hayter that she wants a title shot.
Later in a backstage interview, Hayter said Saraya has gotten too big for her britches and added that Soho is also deserving of a title shot. With that being said, Hayter announced she will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against both Saraya and Ruby Soho at AEW Revolution on March 5.
Looking ahead to this Friday’s Rampage, we know that Toni Storm will take on Willow Nightingale.
