Thunder Rosa made a surprise appearance on an action-packed edition of AEW Dynamite. The former NWA Women’s World Champion came to the ring to attack Britt Baker after her match and some serious intensity to their feud.
The match between Baker and Hirsch was a competitive affair as both gave as good as they got. Baker had the size advantage and used it well to dominate for long periods of the match while Hirsch would use her technical and wrestling prowess to fire back. Reba/Rebel would interfere to distract Hirsch, which allowed Baker to synch in the Lockjaw for the win.
After the bell, Rosa burst into the ring from out of nowhere and laid in several punches to Baker. Baker would retaliate and chaos ensued.
This wasn’t the first time Rose and Baker have thrown down. Two weeks ago Baker would attack Rosa in her NWA title match. After losing the match Rosa would get some payback on Baker in a crazy ringside brawl.
The rivalry between Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker has built well so far, and when they finally get in the ring, it will be an intense, heated and anticipated match up.
Also on the show, we saw an interview with AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida. Shida claimed she wasn’t afraid of Abadon but was then scared by a sound off-camera. It seems as if “The Living Dead Girl” may have shaken Shida somewhat.
Speaking of Abadon, she will be in action next week so prepare yourself to be scared.
