Thunder Rosa is the new Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion. Rosa defeated Kylie Rae to win the title and end her 343-day reign in the process.
The match took place in Chicago at the Stadium Series Night 3 event on Saturday 21st. The championship bout starting the night’s proceedings and is said to be one of the best matches in the history of the promotion.
Rosa and Rae took each other to the limit with their signature powerful and passionate performances.
The match was originally scheduled for July but Rosa’s commitments to NWA resulted in it being changed. Since then Rae successfully defended the title against Hollidead and Lady Frost.
Rosa is now the third women’s champion for the promotion’s history.
Thunder Rosa is currently killing it in AEW with a 23-2 win/loss record for the year thus far. La Mera Mera officially became “All Elite” earlier this year after appearing for the company since 2020 while under contract to NWA.
Kylie Rae shocked the wrestling world when she returned to action in NWA and will take part in an inter-promotional triple threat match at historic Empowerrr.
