Thunder Rosa gets a huge tag team victory alongside Mercedes Martinez on this week’s Dynamite. The last Dynamite before AEW’s Revolution that takes place this Sunday on March 6 witnessed Rosa & Martinez face the AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter.
These four women have built up heavy animosity over the past several weeks. Martinez was originally brought into AEW by Baker to take out Rosa but when she was unable to get the job done, the champion turned on her.
The tag team bout came down to Rosa delivering a Tiger Driver ’98 to Baker and getting the three count on the champ. If Rosa does this on Sunday she will become the new AEW Women’s World Champion. Baker has held the title since Double or Nothing in May of last year when she ended Hikaru Shida’s reign.
Also at Revolution, Tay Conti has answered the open challenge to Jade Cargill’s TBS Championship. A backstage segment aired with Anna Jay at Conti’s side. Conti was being interviewed about her background in Judo and Jiu-jitsu before Cargill entered. Conti is informed that she cannot lay a hand on Cargill before their match.
A promo aired continuing the feud between Legit Leyla Hirsch and Kris Statlander.
