In Thunder Rosa’s latest vlog that was uploaded on Oct. 30, she confirmed that she had suffered a recent concussion.
At the very end of her video, Rosa stated, “I’m going to the gym, finally. I haven’t exercised in about ten days after my concussion. Just trying to be safe.”
Rosa didn’t confirm where or how she suffered the concussion, but her last match in AEW was taped on Oct. 16 for Dark. That was a trios match where she was paired with Kris Statlander and Red Velvet as they faced Diamante, Nyla Rose, and Emi Sakura. Since then her most recent match was over the weekend at AAW’s Hell Hath No Fury against Jody Threat on Oct. 30.
Rosa’s next scheduled match for AEW is a quarter-finals tournament match for the TBS Women’s Championship. She has earned a first-round bye for being ranked in the top five of the women’s ranking. She will be facing the winner of Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter.
