Jade Cargill is now 27-0 and is still the TBS Champion after defeating A.Q.A on this week’s Dynamite.
A.Q.A made a huge statement in her first match on AEW and showed off her skillset against the champion. Despite executing her beautiful shooting star press, A.Q.A wasn’t able to get the pin and the final sequence saw her become victim to Jaded.
The match would last almost eight minutes.
Also on Dynamite was Professor Serena Deeb out to prove that no woman can beat her. After securing a win in under three minutes to Skye Blue recently, she decided to give someone a chance to try to defeat her in five minutes. She was able to do so in just over a minute as she defeated Katie Arquette.
Thunder Rosa vs. Mercedes Martinez in a No DQ match is on the books for next Wednesday’s Dynamite. The two first encountered each other in the ring last week on Rampage and it ended in a rare disqualification for AEW. Martinez utilized a lead pipe to the head of Rosa which caused the official to call the match.
We have found out that although it was Martinez to assist Cargill in her semi-finals match for the TBS Championship, it was actually AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker that brought in Martinez. She wants Martinez to take out Thunder Rosa for good.
