TNA Knockout, Cookie aka Becky Bayless, who was on the receiving end of a vicious head-bashing at the hands of Jersey Shore’s JWoww on Impact this past Thursday, told TMZ that the guest star was ‘out of control’.
Speaking, I’m assuming, in character, Cookie said: “I really think that girl needs to look into some counseling. Her anger issues are obviously out of control.”
She added: “Then again if my face looked like that, I’d be pretty pissed at the world too.”
The article adds that Cookie received the once-over from TNA’s medical staff and she was just fine.
Thoughts: Kayfabe or not (and I think Becky is indeed speaking in character), I was a little concerned with JWoww’s head-bashing as it really looked stiff. JWoww was bashing Becky’s head against the side of the ring, where it’s much harder rather than in the center of the canvas. It looked like it legit hurt. That is the problem when you book someone without any real training in a physical altercation, they don’t know what they’re doing and could seriously hurt someone. Glad to hear Becky is fine, though.
