It has been a very happy week for St. Louis native Tootie Lynn. A huge standout from the successful NWA EmPowerrr all women’s pay-per-view event, Tootie Lynn has made her AEW debut this week.
First starting on Elevation which aired on Monday, Tootie Lynn faced off against the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion Riho. Although a typical short match for the Elevation program, she was able to show some offense. Riho picked up the win after a big stomp off of the top rope.
Tootie Lynn isn’t done there for this week as she will be on Dark Tuesday in a match against another former AEW Women’s World Champion, Nyla Rose.
In other news for Tootie Lynn, which she celebrated on social media, over the weekend she became the new Midwest Territory Champion for Glory Pro Wrestling becoming its only second champion. She dethroned the inaugural champion Hakim Zane (also known to IMPACT fans as Rohit Raju) in a four-way match that also included Dan the Dad and Ethan Price.
Other than Riho picking up the win on the debuting Lynn, Ruby Soho & Ryo Mizunami defeated Emi Sakura and Nyla Rose (w/ Lulu Pencil, Mei Sugura, and Vickie Guerrero).
For AEW Dark tonight, in addition to Tootie Lynn vs. Nyla Rose, three other women’s matches are on the card. In a trios match, Thunder Rosa, Mizunami, and Kris Statlander take on Sakura, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel.
Heidi Howitzer makes her first appearance in an AEW ring as she takes on Riho.
Lastly, another woman who showed out at NWA EmPowerrr, Miranda Gordy will be making her debut in AEW against Tay Conti.
