The Empress of Tomorrow started 2019 as the SmackDown Women’s Champion but would lose it to Charlotte just before WrestleMania. Her momentum would pick up when she started teaming with Kairi Sane as The Kabuki Warriors. Although off to a slow start the really found their groove when they began heeling it up in the ring and defeating opponents with the green mist. Asuka’s character and charisma mixed with her new heel persona mist blowing antics and phenomenal offence has been a joy to watch.

Big Swole has gone from strength to strength in 2019 by dominating in the indies and then showing the world what she has by shining in AEW. She ends the year as an AEW wrestler, SHINE Tag Team Champion with Aja Perera and Pheonix of the RISE Champion.
