Tessa Blanchard vs Gail Kim – Rebellion
Gail Kim came out of retirement to take on Tessa in this heated and bitter Era vs Era match.
During Tessa’s Knockouts title run, she was on a path of destruction beating and breaking all that stood in her way. Blanchard attacked challenger Taya Valkyrie and then the referee mercilessly choking him with his collar. None could stop her until Kim intervened throwing Tessa off and allowing her to be speared by Taya.
The heat between the two escalated when Gail Kim was the special guest referee in for Knockouts Championship match between Blanchard vs Valkyrie. Tessa would blame Kim for losing the match and her title after the two got physical and the destruction allowed Valkyrie to pin Tessa to become the new Knockouts Champion.
Tessa and Kim would continue their resulting in sneak attacks, suspensions and even resignations.
The match was highly intense, heated and featured amazing action from both competitors. Not only was the match amazing and a passing of the torch moment, but it was instrumental in Tessa’s face turn that began her rise to becoming IMPACT’s biggest and brightest star.
