Third Choice: Molly Holly
The pure and wholesome Molly Holly. She was easily, in my opinion, the best wrestler on the women’s roster from 2000 to her departure in 2005. Her Molly Go Round and Back Handspring Elbow are both a thing of beauty. Her Twin City Twister was amazing and was even copied by Natalya and Beth when they dubbed it “Pin Up Strong”.
She may not have been a talker, but she burst into the scene, her wholesome, folksy charm was infectious. She was a good guy’s good guy. When she turned heel, she showed us a vicious side that was both scary and yet cool to watch. When she brought back her famous strut (that I used to copy, as well as her heel walk while the theme played in my head) at the Royal Rumble, I admittedly fangirled a bit.
