In the last five years, the WWE women’s division has grown leaps and bounds from the way it used to be presented. The drastic change in the impact and quality of their appearances at the company’s biggest event of the year, WrestleMania, is a definite indication.
WrestleMania 35 is this Sunday and it will feature the biggest women’s storyline in the history of the event. Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch will make history as the first women to headline The Showcase of the Immortals.
It’s a seminal moment for WWE and all the talent who’ve worked to legitimize women’s wrestling over the years. To tell the truth, the journey to this point has been filled with highs but there have been just as many excruciating lows.
