2. Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks – WrestleMania 32
Debatably the most important women’s match in the history of the event, the triple threat for the Raw Women’s Champion even felt like a big deal. The women weren’t main eventers yet, but this match made it seem possible for the first time.
All three competitors were at the forefront of the marquee on the front of AT&T Stadium and all of their entrances were spectacles befitting major superstars. In addition, WWE Hall of Famer, Lita, marked the occasion with the debut of the new WWE Women’s Championship to replace the Divas Championship.
The opening sequence set the tone for what would turn into a great match, full of counters and submission spots. Charlotte retained and became the first Raw Women’s Champion with a little help from “The Dirtiest Player in the Game,” Ric Flair.
Nonetheless, the shot of her, standing on the ramp raising the title over her head for the first time, will go down in history.
