Today at the NBCUniversal upfront presentation, the WWE – via an appearance by Triple H, Brie and Nikki Bella – announced a new multi-year deal with the company, ensuring that its programming will stay on their networks.
In addition to securing the fates of Raw and SmackDown, this keeps Total Divas at its home on the E! network. The WWE’s official press release states that the reality show will continue to be broadcast by the channel.
The presentation did not elaborate on the future of Total Divas, but a report from the Wrestling Observer has stated that E! has ordered production for ten more episodes of the series. It does not clarify if these episodes would be part of an extended second season or take the form of a third season.
