The NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships are officially set to be defended at the upcoming Vengeance Day event. The event takes place in two weeks during NXT’s normal Tuesday night on Feb. 15. Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) has agreed to defend their championships against Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta.
On this week’s NXT, all three members and champions of Toxic Attraction made their way to the ring to address all the women eyeing up their championships. Dolin & Jayne gave the green light for Hartwell and Pirotta who along with Kay Lee Ray defeated all three members of Toxic Attraction last week. Dolin feels as though Hartwell and Pirotta were lucky with that win.
KLR is attempting to get her own championship match against Mandy Rose the NXT Women’s Champion. She interrupts Rose who was about to speak and says she intends on challenging for the title at Vengeance Day. KLR brings up Rose falling down the ramp during her entrance at last year’s WrestleMania. She says that by the end of the night she will have her title match granted. Rose says “doubtful” which resulted in KLR slapping the champion.
A few moments later outside the building, KLR pulls up next to Mandy Rose and as she is driving away says she will be back. Rose hears Dolin and Jayne yelling from the vehicle.
Later in the show, Rose finds herself backstage and doesn’t realize that KLR is behind her. Spaghetti followed by a cake is thrown onto the champion.
The two show up one more time to end this week’s NXT 2.0 as they meet again in the ring. KLR catches up to Rose and demands a title shot for next week, she doesn’t want to wait for Vengeance Day. Rose agrees to the match before KLR delivers a KLR Bomb to the champion.
