After many years of being passed by, Chyna is finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as apart of DX. Triple H appeared on CBS Sports’ “State of Combat” podcast and spoke candidly about Chyna’s induction and why it took this long to happen.
“It’s not a time-limit type thing …. I’m thrilled that it’s this year, partly because finally the time has passed where everything can just happen and it can be right for her where the moment of putting her in the Hall of Fame for this manner is about her accomplishments and not about anything else. That was always my bigger point of this. You can’t do it when [the negative] becomes the conversation. The conversation needs to be about her accomplishments and what she did here.”
Although this induction is being done posthumously, Chyna would be overjoyed that she is finally being appreciated by the company and sport she so loved. Chyna, along with the rest of the DX stable, will be honored this Saturday evening at WWE’S Hall of Fame ceremony.
