Trish Adora is set to make her debut with PROGRESS Wrestling in March.
On March 20, during the Chapter 130 event named Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, Dodge, Adora will team up with a returning Holidead to take on Mercedez Blaze & Taonga. Adora gained a lot of momentum in 2021 after frequently appearing for ROH and taking part in the promotion’s tournament to crown a new champion. She was signed with ROH but the company went on hiatus at the end of last year.
Also at this PROGRESS event, Kanji vs. Rhio is confirmed.
At Chapter 129 over this past weekend, Kanji became the number one contender for the PROGRESS Women’s Championship after defeating six other women in a Thunderbastard match. That match included Charlie Morgan, Lana Austin, Session Moth Martina, Mercedez Blaze, Skye Smitson, and Taonga.
Kanji returned at Chapter 128 after an injury that required surgery and had her vacate the title. Now she is ready to get her title back after becoming the number one contender. A championship match has not been booked yet but the current champion is Gisele Shaw. Shaw last retained against Rhio.
In other event news for PROGRESS, they will be having an all-women’s event titled Who Run the World? that takes place on March 22. No matches have been confirmed at this time.
