#6: Victoria vs Trish, Unforgiven 2004
In 2004, Trish and Victoria reversed roles. Victoria became a babyface smiles and dances to the ring, who ditched her man who would do her bidding, and Trish got with a problem solver who’d help her in matches, always wore a sneer or scowl, and would take delight in taking shortcuts to win matches.
The match had a slow feel to it, but the action was very solid. We saw a beautiful military press into a gutbuster from Victoria, and we saw Trish dominate the middle portion of the match, answering everything Victoria had to offer and at one time putting her down with a freestyle bow and arrow. Victoria was able to turn it around using her swinging side slam, standing moonsault, a huge headbutt and then launching herself onto Tomko only to eat a Stratusfaction. While this match wasn’t the most exciting, it was a very solid affair and the two women put on a pretty good match here.
