Trish Stratus returned to the ring at the Elimination Chamber event on Saturday. Here, she teamed the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a victory over Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. This match was in front of Stratus’ hometown of Toronto and in front of her children, who got to see their mother wrestle live for the first time.
In a backstage interview, Stratus spoke on giving her 100% as she always does. She wanted to make sure to not let Stratton down as she now starts working with the newer generation. Stratus has returned since retirement to work with the likes of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch previously.
When asked what message she would like to give fans who have followed her career and enjoyed her recent victory, she stated “stay tuned for more Stratusfaction.”
Stratus is celebrating 25 years in the wrestling business.
