Trish Stratus is ready to appear on the Aug. 22 Raw which will be her first time on the red brand since 2019. She was featured over the weekend at live events in Kingston and London, Canada.
In preparation for her first Raw appearance in three years, Ring the Belle uploaded arecent interview between DS Shin and the Hall of Famer. In this, they count down the Top 5 Underrated moments of Stratus’ career.
To start the list, was a match early in both their in-ring careers as Trish took on Stephanie McMahon.
“We were both new. You wouldn’t say those two were wrestlers at that point. We had an amazing storyline bringing us into it. It was intense, the fans were into it – just to find good guy, bad guy roles. Which really helps and drives the storyline. We knew we had this opportunity to have this pay-per-view match and we were so excited because we knew at this point that women weren’t getting a spot on the card necessarily. We not only had a great storyline going it but it was with Stephanie McMahon.”
She continues, “This was a big opportunity for us and man it just gives me such good memories because we knew for us we got to do this together. People think we’re shit in the ring. They do. Some did.”
Stratus went on to say William Regal and Triple H were helping them train.
