With so many legends returning for this year’s Royal Rumble and seven of them announced so far, many fans are speculating if Trish Stratus will grab one of the last spots remaining.
Trish has only been in one Royal Rumble Match but she made a big impact entering in at number 30 in the first women’s match in 2018. Stratus is credited as eliminating three competitors during that match before ultimately being eliminated by Sasha Banks. She returned to the ring on a few occasions afterward including the Evolution pay-per-view and facing Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam in 2019.
So can we expect the seven-time Women’s Champion and Hall of Famer this Saturday at the big event?
Here’s what Stratus had to say on the Bellas Podcast –
“I am filming the semifinals,” said Trish, referencing her role as a judge on Canada’s Got Talent. “They do wrap up at a certain time. I’ll be in that headspace, so that’s sort of my focus at the moment. That’s what I have to do. You know how intense it is, I have to be in it.” [h/t – Fightful]
She further adds into the conversation that Canada is currently in lockdown due to the pandemic but should be lifted by Thursday, Jan. 27.
The Bella Twins will be in the Rumble this Saturday as they join Summer Rae, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, Lita, and IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James as returning legends.
