For the first time in the history of 205 Live, a women’s match will take place on the show. A first-round bout in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will air on Jan. 22. This will be the WWE debuts of Gigi Dolin (FKA- Priscilla Kelly) and Cora Jade (FKA-Elayna Black). This team will face Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

“History will be made on Friday’s edition of 205 Live, as Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade will combine forces against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell in what will be the first-ever women’s match on the purple brand.
LeRae and Hartwell will likely enter their Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match as the favorites, having aligned after LeRae took the impressionable Hartwell under her wing to form The Way alongside Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory.
They would be wise not to take their opponents lightly, however, as Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade step onto the purple brand with nothing to lose and a golden opportunity to turn some heads in the eight-team tournament.”
Dolin and Jade’s official signings (along with Lacey Ryan now known as Zoey Stark) were revealed yesterday. The first match of the tournament took place on last night’s NXT. In that match, Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro advanced over Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez.
Another match is scheduled for next week’s NXT. That will be Aliyah & Jessi Kamea facing Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. The winner of that match faces Catanzaro & Carter.
