During the Mae Young Classic II tapings this month Tegan Knox injured her leg while performing an outside dive that landed awkwardly, forcing her to bow out of the competition.
Triple H provided a minor update today, August 15, on her condition during a media conference call promoting the upcoming TakeOver: Brooklyn.
He said it would be “awhile” before Nox will be able to return to the ring, noting how she’s got a long road ahead.
He reiterated, however, that’s she’s an amazing talent and this isn’t the end for her.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is also reporting that before the injury occurred, Nox was booked to go to the finals of the Mae Young Classic. Plans were changed backstage after she hurt her leg.
Nox has since taken to twitter regarding the incident saying that the injury won’t keep her down:

For everyone who thinks this injury is going to put a “halt” on my career or anything I have done to get where I am then you are hugely mistaken! It’s a minor glitch which will be fixed and I’ll be back better than ever, trust me ???
