Over the past few weeks, a Shayna Baszler attitude that has been missing has come back around as she has viciously attacked both her former tag team partner Nia Jax as well as Eva Marie.
After she faced Jax on the Sept. 20 episode of RAW, Baszler took out her frustrations while blaming Jax in the process. Utilizing the steel steps, Baszler stomped on the elbow/arm of her former tag team partner. She repeated this same attack to Eva Marie the week after.
WWE announced that both of these encounters have resulted in storyline injuries. With the current draft in progress, Nia Jax has been drafted to and will remain on RAW. Eva Marie and Baszler have not been drafted at this time.
PWInsider provides further updates to both Jax and Eva. Eva was spotted backstage at SmackDown selling her injury by wearing a sling the entire night. Jax’s injury may be a way to write her off from TV at this time. She may be taking an extended period of time off.
For what it is worth, WWE announced its upcoming Queen’s Crown Tournament and both Eva and Nia were in the promo.
The second and final night of the WWE Draft takes place this Monday on RAW.
