Speaking on Sirius XM’s Busted Open radio show today, former TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky addressed rumors that TNA management wasn’t happy with her because she was “too provocative”. (Frankly, we never saw these rumors, but apparently they’re out there.)
Speaking to the show, Velvet said: “Honestly I don’t know where that came from but I’ve spoken to the office. I get along with everyone great in TNA, as far as I know. If they have a problem with me then I don’t know. Especially when it comes to the office, I’ve always been very respectful of the office and vice versa. I never had a problem with anyone in the office or in creative.”
“That rumor is exactly what it is… a rumor. I don’t know where it started. The office talked to me about it and clarified it to me that it wasn’t true, and don’t believe it, it’s ridiculous. I didn’t believe it in the first place. When that rumor first started, I’m like, “Where did that rumor come from?” I get along with everybody. No one thinks that about me. No one thinks I’m too provocative.”
