On AEW Dark this week, Nyla Rose took on KiLynn King. King has had recent problems with Rose’s manager, Vickie Guerrero, attacking her from behind. Prior to their match, in her promo she lets Guerrero know that her tactics show her as nothing but a coward. She says that she is KiLynn “The King”, and Nyla Rose is a “Native Bitch.”
The match starts off with a fired up King and Guerrero attempted to interfere early on. She went for the legs of “The King” but was unable to pull it off. King would notice the attempt but doesn’t let it phase her as she stays on Rose. She delivers a punt kick early after a kick to the midsection which drops the Native Beast down to one knee.
Later on in the match, King tries to capitalize with a headbutt. She goes for an enziguri but Rose avoids it and delivers a German Suplex. Rose picks up the win after delivering a Beast Bomb.
After the match, Guerrero takes to the mic and delivers a message to the AEW Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida. She says she has been strategizing for months attempting to collect titles for her client. Instead, the powers that be just continue to throw “pathetic broken barbies” as opponents for Rose. Guerrero says that she and Rose are the Vicious Vixens and they will not be put to the side.
Guerrero declares that they will no longer step inside the ring until Shida publicly accepts the challenge for Rose to get a title shot.
Speaking of Shida, she will be defending her title against Big Swole on this week’s Dynamite.
The other women’s match on AEW Dark involved a debut from Elayna Black as she faced Red Velvet. It may have been a big night for Black to debut, but this didn’t stop Velvet from picking up her first win.
The match culminates into a bulldog from Velvet to Black. After some knee strikes, Velvet hits her finisher, Just Desserts, which put away Black with the three count.
