Following her huge NXT Women’s Championship victory at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, Bayley spoke to WWE.com about what the moment meant to her.
Through her tears, Bayley explained that though she had been dreaming of this moment for years, she was never truly prepared for it.
She said the post-match congratulations she received from fellow Four Horsewomen Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks meant more to her than the match itself, as it is important that they show they support each other and are working together to prove what the Divas are capable of.
Bayley was joined by her mother, brother and sister, who expressed their pride in her and emphasized how hard she’s worked to get to this moment.
