Lana joined Michael Cole for his latest sit down interview to discuss her recent breakup with Rusev and all the drama that followed it.
In the interview, Lana downplayed her ankle injury, saying that her pride was hurt the most, having fallen in front of Rusev and cost Dolph Ziggler his match.
Lana claimed that Rusev’s recent behavior doesn’t reflect how he was in the past. They had grown very close, which is what made the breakup so difficult. She says she left him to help inspire women and children to do what’s right for them.
When it comes to Ziggler, Lana acknowledges that her intentions with him were different in the beginning and she’s having a good time with him now.
Rusev then appears, apologizing to Lana for what happened on Raw. He tells her the bad things that are happening are just “fate” telling them to get back together. He asks her to “submit” herself to him and no one else. She rejects him and leaves, prompting him to trash the interview set.
