We have new IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
On the Countdown to Emergence pre-show, VXT’s Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green defeated Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie to capture their first IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
VXT appeared to be on the same page more than the defending champions, which proved to be vital in the result. Jessicka Havok appeared on the apron at the end, which inadvertently caused Rosemary to spray mist in Valkyrie’s face.
That mishap ultimately led to VXT hitting their double team finisher on Rosemary, which allowed for Green to pin Rosemary for the victory. Rosemary and Valkyrie’s first tag title reign now comes to an end at approximately 53 days.
In the semi-main event of the evening, Mia Yim challenged Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship. With the same goal in mind, these two held nothing back in an evenly-matched scrap. At one point, Yim hit Code Blue from the top rope. Unfortunately for her, she was caught in a quick Grace Driver to ensure Jordynne’s reign lived to see another day.
As the two shook hands once again, Masha Slamovich made her way out and came face-to-face with the champion before delivering her an envelope containing a bloody image of Grace. Needless to say, Masha has her eyes on the gold.
