VXT Score Big Win; Killer Kelly Returns To IMPACT Next Week

Here’s what you missed from the Knockouts division on the July 21st edition of IMPACT Wrestling.

The show opened with the team of VXT, Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green, taking on Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and her number one contender Mia Yim. Despite the current rivals proving to coexist, it wasn’t enough to prevent Purrazzo from securing the pinfall victory over The HBIC.

As a result of the win, Gail Kim dubbed VXT the new number one contenders for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.

Madison Rayne competed for the first time since Slammiversary when she briefly stepped in the ring with Masha Slamovich. The Russian Dynamite immediately ripped Rayne’s protective face mask off before making quick work of her. After the win, Masha made it known Gisele Shaw is next.

Jessicka (not Havok) appeared backstage again and was unwilling to put on her spiked goggles at the request of Rosemary. Instead, she chose to wear a fur coat much like Taya Valkyrie. The segment ended with Rosemary storming off.

Lastly, we know that Killer Kelly will re-debut next week on the July 29th edition of IMPACT. Her opponent is unknown, but this is the culmination of several vignettes that have teased her return to the company. Kelly worked a pair of matches for IMPACT in 2020 before visa and health issues prevented her from making more appearances.
