Crown Jewel takes place tomorrow, Nov. 5 in Saudi Arabia. The show will air at Noon ET and WWE held a press conference today as Michael Cole kicked off the broadcast. This was followed by WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon and CCO Triple H who welcomed everyone.
The first to make their way out to the press conference were Damage CTRL, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Alexa Bliss, and the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
First, Belair spoke about her Last Woman Standing Match against Bayley stating that she will remain Raw Women’s Champion. Bayley responded reminding Belair and everyone that she has successfully defended a championship in Saudi Arabia once before.
After the crowd chanted for Bliss and Asuka, the new tag champs said they will remain champions and that Damage CTRL is not ready for them. Dakota Kai responded pointing out that the tag team gold still has the Damage CTRL side plates on them. Kai adds that they will get their gold back and Bayley will become Raw Women’s Champion. IYO SKY added that she will take back her, she means our, title.
