Round One, Match Four
In the fourth match of the tournament, the eccentric Victoria/Stevie Richards take on the brazen Lita/Edge.
When she debuted in the WWE, Victoria had a decidedly unbalanced personality. The only person who seemed to understand her and keep up with her was Stevie Richards, who was depraved as she was. It probably helped that he didn’t mind being bitten. When those two personalities combined, they were a force to be reckoned with.
Having been a beloved babyface for most of her career, Lita needed a way to tip her reputation on its head when she finally turned heel. The “Rated R Superstar” Edge was the perfect partner for that, as he was more than happy to engage in public makeout sessions and a live sex celebration. Their styles, motivations and personalities seemed totally in sync, resulting in a partnership that brought them both gold and a ton of notoriety.
