According to the Wrestling Observer, last night’s surprise announcement of the first ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match is a response to TNA’s main event cage match last Thursday night between Mickie James and Tara.
The Divas Tag Team Tables match between Lay-Cool and Natalya/Beth Phoenix airs this Sunday on WWE’s TLC pay per view.
Thoughts: Well, I guess it’s good to see that TNA’s success with that match has lit a fire under WWE to do something more daring with its Divas. The Divas are capable of a lot more than we get to see on TV most of the time, so it’s bittersweet that it takes something like this to get them to push the boat out. Looking forward to Sunday’s match though.
