The Extreme Rules fallout episode of RAW focused on finding a new opponent for Becky Lynch. Since Becky Lynch won her mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules she no longer has to face Lacey Evans. This opens the door for someone else to step up just in time for SummerSlam.
Earlier in the day, WWE announced a Fatal-four-way bout involving Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella to determine Lynch’s next opponent. Once the match took place the elimination stipulation was added. The crowd was definitely not feeling what was being produced in this match. Several chants were made in order to show their displeasure.
The majority of the action was carried by Naomi and Natalya. Carmella was an early out, and Bliss was busy hanging out with Nikki Cross outside the ring. She was keeping her eyes open to take advantage of certain opportunities to capture a pinfall.
The pending result had many people thinking that Bliss was about to start another title feud after just losing to Bayley two pay-per-views in a row. Despite the Goddess trying to do everything in her power to sneak out a win, Natalya pulled out the victory.
There wasn’t much other representation from the women this week. Maria Kanellis continued to degrade her husband and even attempted to get in the ring for his match against Zack Ryder.

Renee Michelle (still needs to get signed) was with Drake Maverick in a hotel room as they attempt to consummate their marriage.
Let’s go over the Winner’s and Loser’s of the week on RAW.
WINNER: Natalya
Natalya is the obvious big winner of the week. She hasn’t had a title match since December against Ronda Rousey. She also hasn’t held a title since having the SmackDown Women’s Title in 2017. Being one of the longest tenured women on the current roster and only holding a total of two championship reigns in her over a decade career one could argue this is deserving. It isn’t a bad idea to give her a push at this moment.
She also has a history with Becky Lynch that dates back even before they were in WWE. This match has potential.
LOSER: Maria Kanellis
The pregnancy storyline is starting to lose some steam. When she came on RAW with her husband a few weeks ago she was a huge winner. Unfortunately, since then the storyline has involved ice cream, pickles, and Maria trying to get in the ring with Zack Ryder.
Unless a better build up of a feud between Maria/Mike along with someone else is in the works it is just Maria yelling at her husband. It is going to get old, fast.
LOSER: Alexa Bliss
Surprisingly, Alexa Bliss wasn’t placed in another title feud. She just recently lost two pay-per-views in a row against Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Not sure where she can go next unless they have her friendship with Nikki Cross dissolve causing a rivalry.
Maybe if WWE ever decides to care about the Women’s Tag Titles again then maybe Bliss and Cross can get put back into that mix. To be honest, that is where they probably should have stayed.
