Emma
Who knew independent star Tenille Tayla had the ability to turn what could have been an appalling gimmick into a fan favorite? Dancing like a fish out of water each week on NXT, the bubble blowing Emma burst onto the NXT scene in 2013.
Though she made her debut in 2012, it was in 2013 were Emma made the most of the opportunities given to her. Emma has managed to create the perfect mix of comedy and technical prowess, providing humor for all yet she has still managed to make sure she is taken very seriously in the ring.
Emma enjoyed a very successful NXT Women’s Championship tournament, besting Aksana and Summer Rae, only to lose to Paige in the finals. Since then, Emma has played a prominent role on NXT television, feuding with Summer Rae and Sasha Banks while standing up to the Women’s Champion Paige in the process. Come 2014, Emma is set to do battle with Natalya and eventually, she’ll receive a second chance at Paige’s championship. If her 2013 is anything to go by, it will be plain sailing dancing for the Emmataining Australian.
