Every hour until the clock strikes midnight (Eastern time) and we usher in 2014, Diva Dirt will highlight – in no particular order – the women who made an impact in 2013.
Jessicka Havok
It’s been a heck of a year for the Havok Death Machine, as she’s now known. Since the culmination of her brutal feud with Reby Sky in SHINE in the opening months of 2013, she’s found herself at or around the very top of every promotion with the guts to book her.
While her WSU Championship defenses this year have been few and far between (through no fault of her own), it seems pretty clear that she plans to keep the belt firmly around her waist for as long as possible, most recently defending the title in a superb match against Lexxus in October. With WSU’s nascent resurgence underway it looks like Havok will have more than her fair share of challenges to her crown in 2014.
Elsewhere, Havok continues to be a mainstay on SHINE, working all but one of their 2013 shows and narrowly coming up short against Rain for the SHINE Championship in August. This year also saw her show what she can do in the ring with men, defeating Sami Callihan in a vicious war of attrition in May at WSU and becoming a regular fixture for Full Impact Pro.
In addition, we saw Havok make her debut for SHIMMER, taking part in some fantastic matches against the likes of Serena Deeb and Madison Eagles. With her fingers now in so many pies, 2014 looks set to be another dominant year for Jessicka Havok.
