Every hour until the clock strikes midnight (Eastern time) and we usher in 2016, Diva Dirt will highlight – in no particular order – the women who made an impact in 2015.
Renee Young
WWE’s most talented announce team member added another feather to her cap in 2015, creating quite the proverbial headdress. Renee Young has practically done it all in the WWE: backstage announcing, ringside commentary, pre-show presenting, you name it – this broadcasting beauty has ticked accomplishments aplenty from her list.
Just when you think Renee couldn’t achieve anymore, the WWE bestowed her with her own chat show on the WWE Network, Unfiltered. In the series, Young has sat down with WWE champions, Hall of Fame Diva legends, DC superheroes and even Star Wars Jedis. That is quite the resume!
One of Renee’s most testing times in 2015 was as a co-anchor of the newly-revived Tough Enough alongside Chris Jericho. The first-ever live series of Tough Enough garnered a mixed reaction from fans and critics alike but it safe to say that one of the most consistently praised elements was Renee herself: a true professional and reliable journalistic presence whatever the success of the project. Thankfully for Renee, Tough Enough was her only blip of the year.
To put it simply, Renee has nailed each and every opportunity that has come her way in 2015. Quite the way to spend the year if you ask us. Here’s hoping Renee makes even more history in 2016. Should you decide to try something new next year, our doors are always open for you!
Come back at the top of every hour to see who else has been crowned 2015’s WOTY.
