Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will be defending their tag team belts against Fire & Desire one week from Sunday at Clash of Champions. Bliss and Cross have held the title for over a month. They won a Fatal Four-way tag team elimination match on the Aug. 5 episode of RAW.
During that match, it was Fire & Desire who eliminated The IIconics first in order to guarantee new champions. They were eliminated second by Asuka.
What led up to this match at Clash of Champions was a win by Fire & Desire on the champs this past week on SmackDown. After a distraction by Mandy Rose and Cross on the outside for Bliss, she was unable to hit the Twisted Bliss on Sonya Deville. Fire & Desire executed a team finisher on Bliss for Rose to get the pinfall victory.
This is the third women’s match added to the pay-per-view’s card. The challengers are ready based on their Twitter posts.
Who do you think will walk out of Clash of Champions as the Women’s Tag Team Champions? Is it too early for Bliss and Cross to drop the titles?
