Coming at number 19 of WWE’s 50 Greatest WrestleMania Matches Ever, we have one of only two women main events in the history of the show. It lands itself at number 19 and makes the fourth match on this list to include women.
At WrestleMania 37, Sasha Banks defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Night One in the main event against Bianca Belair. This made Banks and Belair as the first-ever two Black women to wrestle for a championship at WrestleMania. The also became two of only five women to ever main event a WrestleMania following the Triple Threat at WrestleMania 35 that involved Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair.
Belair would go on to win this match and become the SmackDown Women’s Champion, earning her first ever championship in WWE at the time. This ended Banks’ longest reign as champion in the WWE at 167 days.
