At the thirtieth WrestleMania, AJ Lee‘s record-breaking Divas Title reign was in jeopardy when the belt was defended for the very first time on the grandest stage of them all.
AJ having beaten every challenger put before her, Vickie Guerrero booked a special match for WrestleMania 30: the Vickie Guerrero Invitational. Every Diva on the roster would take part in the match, the stipulation calling for one fall to a finish.
Challenging for the belt were Aksana, Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Cameron, Emma, Eva Marie, Layla, Naomi, Natalya, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and AJ’s own ally Tamina Snuka.
As she had done for most of her reign, AJ beat the odds, retaining the title by isolating Naomi and forcing her to tap out to the Black Widow. AJ’s Divas Title reign would live to see another day, but just the one: Paige‘s debut the next night on Raw would bring it to a sudden, shocking end.
