WSU announces its 13th Anniversary Show

Women’s Superstars United (WSU) has announced its next event that will be taking place on March 15. It will be taking place at the Colossal Sports Academy at the Coliseum in Vorhees, N.J. The title of this event will be the 13th Anniversary Show as it is highlighting 13-years of some of the worlds best women’s wrestling.

At this time, only one match has been announced for the card but it is an important one. It is for the WSU Championship and will be the the third defense for the champion Brittany Blake. She will be taking on someone who has been red hot recently on the indie scene lately, Tasha Steelz. Steelz has recently been appearing on NWA’s Powerrr as well.

Blake defeated former champion Kris Statlander on Dec. 14 at a CZW event named CZW Cage of Death XXI. Statlander became champion after she was originally the interim champion to Tessa Blanchard. She became interim champion after defeating Diamante in a tournament. On Dec. 2, Blanchard stepped down as champion promoting Statlander.

Statlander lost the title after going for a failed Big Bang Theory finisher. Blake would roll the former champion up to win her first WSU Championship.
