This morning at WWE Beast in the East, live from Tokyo, Japan, Nikki Bella put the Divas Title on the line against Paige and Tamina Snuka in a Triple Threat match.
The fast-paced match saw her form brief alliances with Paige, the Total Divas stars uniting to wear down the powerful Tamina. Tamina would eventually get revenge in the form of a Tower of Doom, taking out both Divas with the high risk move.
The end of the bout would see Tamina superkick Paige to break up a PTO she had latched on Nikki. She then attempted to take advantage of Nikki’s weakened state, hitting a Samoan Drop and going for a Superfly Splash. The top rope move wouldn’t pay off, though, Nikki rolling out of the way and immediately laying out Tamina with a forearm. This would be enough to pin her and allow Nikki to retain the Divas Title.
