WWE Women’s Championship 1956-2010

At its deactivation in 2010, the WWE Women’s Championship was the oldest active title in the company, older than the WWE Championship by seven years. The former NWA Women’s Title was sold to Vince McMahon, and because of that, the first champion, the controversial Fabulous Moolah was able to claim a 10,000+ day reign for almost 28 years, even though she gained and lost the belt on four separate occasions.

The title also had been deactivated for two stints; 1990-1994, 1995-1998. Of the 29 women who have held the title for a combined 59 reigns, 21 of them were Caucasian, they also had 42 of the 59 reigns as recognized by the WWE. Blonde women had a combined 18 of the 59 reigns. Out of the total 17,253 days total, 15,799 of them a Caucasian woman had the belt, even with stripping away Moolah’s 10,778 days, there would still be an at least 2:1 ratio between a Caucasian champion and a Woman of Colour holding the belt.

Title Reign Day Count: Total: 15,799, Blonde Champion(s): 2273, Non-White Champions: 1454.
