WWE announced on their website that they have fined Ronda Rousey for her “unprofessional actions” on this past Monday Night Raw. The exact amount of the fine – plus the exact reasons – have not been disclosed. On their official website, WWE made the following statement:
Ronda Rousey has been fined by WWE as a result of her unprofessional actions last Monday night on Raw. Due to the confidentiality of Rousey’s contract, the amount of the fine will not be disclosed. Appropriate action has been taken.
This past week on Raw, Ronda attacked Dana Brooke and also said b*tch on live television. This is not the first time either of these actions have taken place on Raw, so one can only speculate the reason for the fines.
Rousey has been on thin ice with the fans after her recent social media rants in which she called wrestling fake and also claimed she doesn’t need this job. Some wonder if any of this is a shoot or Rousey is just playing up her newly found heel persona.
In just over three weeks, Rousey will defend her WWE Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte at WrestleMania.
