WWE Recruit AJ Amrhein Makes NXT Live Debut

In August, WWE announced the group of recruits offered contracts following the WrestleMania tryouts earlier this year. In that list was AJ Amrhein who made her in-ring debut at an NXT Live event on Sept. 24 in Citrus Park, Fla.

She teamed up with Arianna Grace and Kiana James in a losing effort against Fallon Henley, Thea Hail, and Valentina Feroz. When her singing was announced her bio read as follows –

AJ Amrhein is a well-renowned fitness instructor from Scottsburg, Ind., and a former tumbler on the prestigious Baylor Acrobatics & Tumbling team. Amrhein is a three-time national champion with The Bears and was named the 2020 Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Sept. 24 NXT Live Event – Citrus Park, Fla. (via Cagematch) –

  • Fallon Henley, Thea Hail, and Valentina Feroz defeated Arianna Grace, Kiana James, and AJ Amrhein
  • Indi Hartwell defeated Lash Legend
  • Mandy Rose (c) defeated Nikkita Lyons – NXT Women’s Title Match

Sept. 23 NXT Live Event – Ft. Pierce, Fla. (via Cagematch) –

  • Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark defeated Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley and Toxic Attraction
  • Roxanne Perez & Sol Ruca defeated Arianna Grace & Kiana James
