WWE has released several superstars today (May 6th), saying “Girl, Bye” to Cameron in the process.
Real name Ariane Andrew, Cameron was released alongside Santino Marella, Hornswoggle, El Torito, Zeb Colter and Alex Riley.
Ariane was a contestant on the 2011 revival of Tough Enough. Despite being eliminated first, she was quickly signed with the company regardless, and was the longest-serving alumni from that TE series.
She debuted on the main roster as a Funkadactyl dancer/valet to Brodus Clay alongside Naomi. Following that, she worked a program with WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, even having a title match at Elimination Chamber 2014.
She recently appeared on NXT, wrestling the likes of Asuka and competiting in a Number One contender’s battle royal. Her final televised appearance was on February 10th, in a losing effort to Alexa Bliss.
Away from the main roster, she appeared on three seasons of Total Divas and released two music singles – Bye Bye and Wrong #.
