On November 29 edition of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan cut a scathing promo on one another.
The show began with the duo signing a contract for their RAW Women’s Championship match on December 6.
During the segment, they exchanged some heated words in which Morgan called Lynch a “blubbering mess” before referencing WWE’s talent releases.
Morgan stated that Lynch’s big money WWE contract is the reason why her friends were no longer with the company:
“Just like your big, fat, greedy contract is the reason why my friends are gone.”
The friends Morgan referenced are her former stablemates Sarah Rowe and Ruby Soho, who were both released by WWE since the pandemic.
WWE has since edited out the controversial line in the promo on their YoutTube channel.
During Fightful’s review of the show, Sean Ross Sapp revealed several former WWE employees and a current superstar told him the comments were in bad taste:
“It happened several times during this show, and I had former WWE wrestlers, former WWE producers, and a current WWE wrestler, that were all telling me how bad a taste they thought that was.”
