Below are results for night ONE of the Superstar Shakeup. Click HERE for full results from BOTH nights.
Last Monday on the RAW after Mania episode of Monday Night RAW, we witnessed WWE Chairman Vince McMahon make a groundbreaking announcement.
The Chairman stated that during this week’s editions of both Monday Night RAW and tomorrow’s SmackDown Live, a “Superstar Shakeup” will take place.
Though not a lot of information was handed out, what we do know is that some Superstars from RAW and SmackDown Live will be switching brands in order to “shake up” the state of WWE.
Prior to this week, we saw a bit of change happen in the women’s divisions.
NXT’s Ember Moon suffered her first loss at NXT TakeOver: Orlando, courtesy of the longest reigning NXT Women’s champion Asuka.
Hometown hero Naomi made Alexa Bliss tap out at Wrestlemania 33 in a six-pack challenge to reclaim her title as SmackDown Women’s champion. The match also included Becky Lynch, Carmella, Mickie James and Natalya.
Bayley over came Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks to retain her RAW Women’s championship at Wrestlemania 33.
Nikki Bella was proposed to by John Cena after defeating Maryse and The Miz at Wrestlemania 33. The winning duo were also stated to be taking time off from WWE for a while as Cena films a new movie and Bella rehabs her neck.
Emma returned at RAW after Mania, making her name known in a six woman tag match.
