Friday Night SmackDown will air as normal this Friday, but an extra show will be taped.
WWE will tape the July 26 episode of SmackDown at the live show on July 19, in Omaha, Nebraska. This is due to the fact they will be in their tour of Japan during July 26, Friday’s time frame.
The company has a live event in Tokyo that day, as well as shows in Osaka on July 25 and back to Tokyo again on July 27. This trip will be WWE’s return to Japan for the first time since 2019.
At the show is advertised Meiko Satomura who has not been in a WWE ring since March 2023 when she lost to Roxanne Perez at Roadblock. Asuka is also advertised but is currently out with an injury.
At the time of this writing there has been no matches scheduled for either July 19 or July 26 SmackDown events.
