This week, we’re asking this: Book a main roster debut for an NXT Diva. We’ve read your responses on our social media pages and picked some of the best submissions to highlight here on the website. As always, you can join the debate by leaving your comments!
- Andrew C. Kunzeman: Natalya and Paige are booked for a match vs. Brie and Nikki Bella. Charlotte debuts to help Natalya and Paige win and a female version of The Legacy begins.
- @AntiKingAndrew: Sasha Banks debuts with Becky Lynch as her sidekick and has Summer Rae and Cameron join her to reform and upgrade the BFFs.
- @BeamerRocks: I wanted to see Charlotte walk out when John Cena gave the open invite for the US Title Belt. Too late, but something similar.
- @BorisGlisic: Bayley, as an obsessive fan of AJ Lee. She stalks her and wants to be her friend, similar to Trish Stratus/Mickie James storyline.
- @BSBWrestling: Brie’s turned face and Sheamus is feuding with Daniel Bryan, so the Celtic Warrior announces a “war on both fronts.” Enter Becky Lynch.
- Chris Perry: Sasha Banks attacks Summer Rae for revenge, making Summer a babyface.
- @ClydeEDawkins: Just like last year. Have Charlotte debut on Raw and take the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella!
- Jasmine Christine Martin: There’s a Triple Threat match between Divas Champion AJ, Paige and Naomi for the title. AJ retains and cuts a promo about her previous title reign and how she will break her own record and become the longest reigning Divas Champion once again and that no Diva will ever compare. Suddenly her mic goes out and Sasha’s theme begins. Sasha walks out (still NXT Women’s Champion btw) and tells AJ to stop taking about her past achievements and worry about the future. And that after Sasha beats her for the Divas Title, her future will pretty much entail sitting at home playing wife to her quitter of a husband. AJ goes for the attack, but Sasha dodges and hits her with a Bank Statement. She then declares that the Boss is finally here and it’s time for all the other Divas to bow down and live with it.
- John Harris: You have segments through Raw where we see Divas just laying on the ground from apparent attacks backstage, then you have a WrestleMania rematch that night between Paige and AJ vs. the Bella Twins and then through the crowd and jumping the barrier you have Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley attack whichever Divas are on the apron and take them out and then they surround the two Divas left in the ring, get into the ring and attack them too like a female Nexus so they’ve taken out the whole roster. Then they get on the mic and put the Divas roster on notice that the real women wrestlers are here the women that have been stealing the show at WWE NXT and they’re here to show the “Divas” how it’s done! That’s how I’d love to see it done.
- KJ Anderson: I like the idea of AJ Lee feuding with Sasha Banks when she gets called up. It would be a good feud because Sasha Banks can be the bad girl like she is now in NXT. I think AJ Lee/Sasha Banks feud could have potential to be the most personal feud since AJ/Kaitlyn.
- Memo Soto: Nikki issues a #1 contender Battle Royal to every Diva back in the locker room, so they start to come out one by one. Last three standing are Paige, Naomi and Brie. Brie takes out Paige pushing her from the top rope, Naomi then pushes Brie, Naomi stares down at Nikki from outside the apron. While camera focus on the stare down, Sasha runs to the ring AND BANG! drop kick to the back of Naomi and Sasha Banks wins #1 contendership.
- Michael De Medici: Have a rematch between Pai-J and the Bellas, have the Bellas go over declare themselves the bosses of the women’s division, and have Sasha Banks come out and declare she’s the only boss in all of WWE. let them fight and let the Bellas get the upper hand, then let Summer Rae make the save, reuniting the BFFs.
- Yuna Zoey: Sheamus forms a heel stable consisting of Finn Bálor and Becky Lynch. Together the three terrorize the divisions attacking any who they want to, just because they can. Originally I had this in mind for Bayley: Nikki holds an open invitation to anyone in the audience to come and fight her for the Divas Title. Nikki chooses Bayley who hugs saying she’s her “biggest fan”. They have a match which looks to be in Nikki’s favour until AJ surprises & distracts Nikki causing Bayley to pin & win the Divas Champion. Nikki attacks Bayley after only for AJ to chase off Nikki to make the save, only for her to then turn on Bayley and attack her starting off a feud with Nikki vs. AJ vs. Bayley.
